In 2023 I approached Jarvis, at a 60th birthday bash, in Shetland (Candida’s birthday) and asked him if he would consider becoming our Patron. At this point he had already done me a favour, when he assisted with the opening of our rainwater harvesting grant. So, he had a background knowledge and understanding about the charity. His answer was …. “can I have sometime to think about this please ?”
What could I say ? “Yes of course”.
I didn’t have to wait long, as he beckoned me over with a “YES” …….. doesn’t get any better does it ?
Jarvis is a great support, and can often be seen here, either visiting or supporting us on our Open days.
