October half term 2026 ……..

Meet at Parson House Outdoor Centre. 9.30am to 4.00pm. Bring a spare set of clothing, coat/waterproofs, and a packed lunch , drinks, and medication (if required)

27th October – Step outside your comfort zone and embrace the thrill of weaselling, climbing wall, and obstacle course. Perfect for adventurers of all skill levels, this dynamic trio of activities will challenge your agility, balance, and determination as you navigate through vibrant landscapes and test your limits.

28th October -Step into a world of excitement at Parson House, where your day of adventure awaits with exhilarating abseiling and rock climbing experiences designed for thrill-seekers of all ages. Feel the adrenaline surge as you conquer challenging heights and navigate stunning landscapes, all while surrounded by the beauty of nature. Suitable for all levels,  let the great outdoors be your playground on this action-packed day of fun and discovery

29th October – Explore underground, 320 /340 million years of carboniferous limestone awaits you, carved out by ancient tropical seas, unbelievable fossils, further on explore where miners have their living out of the Limestone caves; see stalagmites, stalactites. Caving & Abseiling. Followed by the thrill of an abseil or two over the viaduct bridge at Millers Dale; 75 to 90ft abseil over the River Wye, in Derbyshire . The bridge is an historic part of the area, dating back to 1844, where the Peak District was connected by the railway from London to Mancheseter.
